Pricing & licence

Images delivered on CDROM are intended for press use and are subject to our product licence.
Sketch images are submitted under the sketch licence and are free of charge.
Paper prints are destined for private individuals and are therefore reserved for private use.


Charges applicable to images under the product licence.
Depending on the collection, the price may change and is indicated for each image for two fomats:
10x15cm / 300dpi : 180 €
20x30cm / 300dpi : 280 €
Web 1024x768 pixels : 75 €

Charges applicable to paper prints
(all of our paper copies are plastic laminated.)
60x90cm : 70 €

Reductions for larger orders
(Regardless of the image format and licence):
From 3 to 4 images ordered: -10%
From 5 to 10 images ordered: -20%
From 11 to 50 images ordered: -30%
More than 50 images ordered: -40%

If you require an image in a different format, please contact us and we will draw up a special quotation for you.
Our prices for deliveries ouside France does not include VAT, therefore you can't order in France from the english version of this site.

1) Summary of licence contracts concerning sketch images and products.
(for paper prints destined for private individuals, see the bottom of the page)
Our images are free of royalties. This does not signify that by purchasing them, you become the rightful owner of the photos.
You are bound to us by a licence contract which gives you the authority to reproduce the photos without having royalties to pay, as per the limits set out in this contract.
Our licence contract lists the conditions of this authorisation which is granted to you, and which constitutes your contractual guarantee.

1.1) Summary of the licence for sketch images
This licence covers the sketch images which are free to download on our web site: all images you download from the website are covered by the sketch licence.
Downloading the image automatically signifies that you have fully and clearly accepted the clauses of the sketch licence agreement.
Sketch images can be used for (the list is not exhaustive):

  • Viewing the image more clearly.

  • Creating sketch presentations to submit to your clients.


Under no circumstances can they be used for other means, such as (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Illustrating a website.

  • Creating a final product.


Sketch images cannot be used in finished projects be they for internal or external use, (for example, the sketch licence does not allow the use of images within a company's internal network).

1.2) Summary of the Product licence.
When you purchase our images, you can use them when and where you wish, and with the medium of your choice (use for defamatory purposes, pornography, immoral or illegal use in any form is clearly forbidden, this list is not exhaustive):

  • Websites, multimedia campaigns.

  • Advertising, promotion, presentation, brochures.

  • Book covers or internal pages.

  • Packaging for software, disks, CDs, audio or video cassettes, DVD.

  • Displays or posters

  • (this list is not exhaustive).


You cannot however, use these images in a product destined for sale, for which it constitutes the principle value:

  • Post cards, greetings cards.

  • Leaflets for tourists.

  • Souvenir items (lighters, T-shirts etc.)

  • (this list is not exhaustive).


It is equally forbidden to sell the images as an image database in competition to ourselves.



2) Licence for sketch Images
From downloading the image, or delivery in CDROM form, the purchaser is irrefutably presumed to have become aware of the present conditions.
In the terms of the present licence, the purchaser is considered to be any person (a natural or artificial person) which has acquired the image for him/her/it/themselves.
If this relates to a natural person, the purchaser is considered as the single user of the present image, and consequently the only person entitled to the present user licence.
If the purchaser is an artificial person, the present licence applies to all of its members, partners and employees, or agents in the conditions annexed to paragraph 3 of the present licence.
In the terms of the present licence, these persons will be considered as the users, and holders of the current licence. They are irrefutably presumed to have made themselves aware of, and to have adhered unreservedly to these terms.
In a general manner, usage carries the irrefutable presumption that the user is aware of the present terms and has adhered to them unreservedly.
All other use will be considered as a violation of the copyright of Desjobert SARL.

2.1 The user licence
Desjobert SARL, 5 rue du 1er Bataillon de choc, 20090 Ajaccio, France. 33 (0) 495.233.017, agrees under the present terms, to grant every user a user licence for images downloaded or delivered on CDROM. It does so on the express condition that the following terms and conditions are respected:

  • All copyrights and other attached rights belong to Desjobert SARL or to its suppliers.

  • Usage involves the irrefutable presumption that the user has made himself aware of the present information and adheres to it unreservedly.

  • The ownership of the images and usage rights relating to them, remain the property of Desjobert SARL, which only grants a user licence for the images under the terms of the current licence.



2.2 The user is entitled to:

  • Create presentation sketches to submit to clients, via any medium of his choice.

  • Make a further copy of the image for archiving or storage purposes.



2.3 The user is not entitled to:

  • Re-copy the image and/or the associated instructions other than in the specific circumstances authorised by the current licence contract.

  • Use the image in a final project, of whatever nature, on whatever medium, and for whatever use (internal or external, etc).

  • Use the image in any product destined for sale, where it would constitute the principle value.

  • Reproduce any image "as is" with a view to marketing it. The user is informed that such illegal marketing of the image will lead to civil and/or penal liability proceedings on the grounds of counterfeiting.

  • Reproduce or make the images available to more than 20 (twenty) people, especially by duplication, placing it on the internet, or on an intranet or extranet, or by sharing the files.

  • Create works which are scandalous, obscene or immoral using the images.

  • Distribute or sell the images in association with another product which would be in competition to it.

  • Use an image concerning identifiable people or entities in a manner which would suggest a link or an association in some way to any product, service, religious, political or philosophical movement.

  • Use photos which represent natural persons in such a manner as to make them identifiable.

  • Rent, sell, lend or grant image rights outside of the cases cited above.

  • Copy or distribute copies of the images


The user takes full responsibility for any use of the images which would necessitate individual authorisation from third parties, due to industrial property, literary and artistic rights, or because of the personality rights which could be claimed and which are expressly excluded from the current licence.
Desjobert SARL is not responsible for any use of its images which would constitute a breach in any way of third party personality rights.

2.4 Author
In application of the clauses of articles L 121-1 and following of the Intellectual Property Code, all use of the images is dependent on the name of the photographer and Desjobert SARL: François Desjobert being clearly stated.

2.5 Duration
This user licence will be effective during the whole period of use of the image. It will come to an end in the event that the user does not respect the terms and conditions of it.
The user agrees to destroy all copies which have been made of the image upon expiry of the present licence.

2.6 Guarantee
Images acquired under the present licence contract are not guaranteed.
Desjobert SARL will in no way be held liable for any direct or indirect losses, harm or prejudice resulting from the use of images, and will not make good such losses.

2.7 Limitation of guarantee and liability
Subject to the guarantees provided in the preceding article, the image is supplied "as is". All risks related to the results and performance of the images must be borne by the user.

2.8 Applicable law
The present contract is governed by French law.
All differences resulting from the current contract, including disputes concerning its validity, its interpretation and performance, (without this list being in any way exhaustive), will be settled by the Tribunal de Commerce (Commercial Court) of Ajaccio.
Amendments to one of the terms of the present conditions will only come into force if they are agreed in writing between Desjobert SARL and you.
Nothing mentioned in the catalogues or other advertising documents from Desjobert SARL will be considered as having any contractual value vis-à-vis the current licence.
No action taken by Desjobert SARL, (unless this takes the form of a renunciation expressed in writing), will be interpreted as a relinquishment of any clause in the present licence.
In the eventuality that Desjobert SARL renounces any specific part of this licence, this fact does not signify renunciation of any other part.
If a clause in the present licence is found to be null and void, this will not affect any other clause, and the remainder of the current licence will remain fully in force.
In the event of a contradiction between the printed terms contained in the present conditions and the terms contained in any purchase order sent by you or your employer, the terms of the present licence will take precedence.
Should Desjobert SARL be obliged to enforce its rights due to infraction of the current conditions, with or without trial, all fees and legal charges reasonably incurred by Desjobert SARL will be payable by you.

2.9 Individualised licences
No individual licence will be granted in the context of the present licence.





3) The Product licence.
From downloading the image, or its delivery on CDROM, the purchaser is irrefutably presumed as being aware of the current conditions.
In the terms presented, the purchaser is viewed as any person (a natural or artificial person) having acquired the image for him/her/it/themselves.
If this relates to a natural person, the purchaser is considered as the single user of the image presented, and is the only person entitled to the present user licence.
If the purchaser is an artificial person, the present licence applies to all of its members, partners and employees or agents in the conditions associated with paragraph 3 of the current licence.
Under the terms provided, these persons will be considered as the users, and will be entitled to the current licence. They are irrefutably presumed to have made themselves aware of and adhered unreservedly to these terms.
In a general manner, usage carries the irrefutable presumption that the user is aware of the present terms and has adhered to them unreservedly.
All other use will be considered as a violation of the copyright of Desjobert SARL.

3.1 The user licence

  • Create sketch presentations to submit to clients, via any medium.

  • Make an additional copy of the image for archiving or storage purposes.

  • Use one or several images on behalf of a third party who is not the holder of the current licence, making the latter a user in accordance with the definition provided in the current conditions.

  • The user remains fully liable for the third party's actions vis-à-vis Desjobert SARL in respect of the current terms.



3.3 The user is not entitled to:

  • Copy or distribute copies of the CDROM, the images, their documentation or their packaging.

Desjobert SARL is not liable for any use of its images constituting a breach in any way of third party personality rights.

3.4 Author

3.5 Duration

3.6 Guarantee
Desjobert SARL guarantees a good quality image for a period of three days from the date of purchase.
Desjobert SARL will not in any way be held liable for any direct or indirect losses, harm or prejudice resulting from the use of images, and will not make good such losses.
Should a defect be discovered linked to the download or to the production of the CDROM during this three day period, Desjobert SARL will replace the defective image.
Desjobert SARL offers no guarantee, either tacitly or expressly, concerning how appropriate the content of the CDROMs or the images purchased are to the needs of the user.
Subject to the guarantees provided in the current licence, the CDROM is supplied "as is" and subject to the configuration recommended on the packaging notice. Consequently, the user assumes all risks related to the results and performance of this CDROM.

3.7 Download conditions
Desjobert SARL has done its utmost to provide you with a quick and easy service, but we are not responsible for the download speed of these images, nor for any damage which may occur during this operation.

3.8 Limitation of guarantee and liability
Subject to the guarantees provided in the preceding article, the image is provided "as is". All risks related to the results and performance of the image must be borne by the user.

3.9 Applicable law

4) Paper Prints for private individuals.
Paper prints are exclusively destined for use in the context of a private or family circle.
All commercial or public distribution is forbidden.
All representation or reproduction (wholly or partly), is illegal as per the Intellectual Property Code (article L 122-5) and constitutes a counterfeiting offence punishable under the penal code.
The only reproduction permitted under article L 122-125 are copies or reproductions strictly reserved for private use by the copyist and not for collective usage, as well as analysis or short quotations justified by the critical, educational or informative character of the work into which they are incorporated, subject however, to the clauses of articles L 122-10 to L 122-12 of the same code, relating to reproductions using reprography.
